We can't be 100% better than our competition, but we can be 1% better in a hundred different ways. Yes, Innovation is the key to victory.
however, starting to implement service Innovation can be quite tricky. Books and consultants will suggest you start it by engaging a bunch of people then setting a strategy, finding insights, creating ideas, building prototypes, executing ideas, and reviewing results... It doesn't need to be that complex. Thinking small often works best, especially for the first time. Innovation will be more successful with a smaller scope, a shorter timeline, a smaller budget, and fewer people. Service Innovation is not rocket science.
It's all about people - You and Me. The new services should be able to create value by satisfying our basic needs. We all seek happiness, enjoy convenience, and crave acceptance. The objective of a new service may be just as simple as delighting customers.
You can't go wrong when your services are to satisfy people's needs. If they aren't customer service is purely transactional! Good service ideas are not likely to come from the same categories if an organization follows what its competitors have done the best.

it's searched sometimes hundreds of thousands of times a day every day seems like such a simple question yet it continues to beg the question what is it you know and a lot of times when we look at leadership.
That's easier sometimes to start with what it isn't you know I think it's important to show that leadership definitely has nothing to do with your position or your seniority in a company a lot of times people talk about an organization's leadership and they're referring to the most senior executives at the top but remember leadership doesn't always happen when you reach a certain pay grade.
it happens all throughout the organization and in fact, most leadership happens in the middle and below it also has nothing to do with titles, and just because you have that title doesn't automatically make you a leader.
